The Jelly Bean update stream from Samsung does not seem to stop. The manufacturer has gradually been pushing out the latest version of Android to all their new and old phones that are capable of handling it. It has been quite a while since the Android 4.1.2 update rolled out to the Galaxy S2 regular model. It was followed by another variant of the handset GT-I9100G, and now it’s time for the Galaxy S2 users in Canada to rejoice and taste Jelly Bean.
Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 update for the Canadian variant Galaxy S2 GT-I9100M. Many of you might have already received the software update notification. But if you have been able to update your phone so far for some reason, you can download the complete firmware from the link belw and install it manually on your phone. Needless to say the new update brings a bunch of awesome features and improvements that will surely enhance your experience with this old chap.
Download Firmware:
You can download the update via Kies or Over-the-Air by going to Settings> About> Software Update. Please note that if your phone is rooted or you have installed a custom ROM on your phone you will not be able to receive the official update. However, you can install the new Android firmware using Odin.
