So you want to buy a brand new, flashy smartphone but don’t know what to pick? Well, if you can’t decide between the devices that are already out, it might be a wise idea to hold off until more handsets are released. This year promises to bring top smartphone quality to the market and the long list of devices of all types that will make their debut at the MWC 2017 event seems to make waiting until February worthwhile.
The trend in 2017 appears to be slapping the biggest RAM units you can find onto any device. While that might seem like a critique, it’s actually quite cool that so many smartphones are offering large RAM pools for users that like to operate at higher device stress levels.
In this article we’ll be doing a rundown of some of the best devices that will be attending MWC 2017. Let’s see what 2017 has cooking for us so far.
Samsung Galaxy S8
The undoubtedly fan favorite amongst any competitors, the Galaxy S8 Samsung flagship is one of the most anticipated devices of the year. The hype train started taking passengers right after S7 was released last year, and if that device’s story is any indication what awaits Galaxy S8 fans, we can at the very least say that this handset will leave its mark on the market. The device features a 12 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP front shooter. It also includes 8 GB of RAM and a 3000 mAh battery.
HTC 11
Looking to replicate the massive success of previous releases such as the highly acclaimed HTC One, the Taiwanese manufacturer will bring this Snapdragon 835 behemoth to eager consumers. With the minimum of 8GB just like all the devices in this list, HTC 11 promises grand performance levels through the Snapdragon 835 processor
OnePlus 5
OnePlus 3 was a major hit for the Chinese company, followed by an updated version called OnePlus 3T. This year, OnePlus is definitely looking to build on the success garnered from previous efforts, and the new OnePlus 5 is just the way to do that. The unit comes with at least 2 GB RAM more than its predecessor, on top of additional specs.
