Korean smartphone giant Samsung is on a roll these days in regards to their smartphone releases. As in, the company has been constantly outing various devices in their A-series and M series. One of them is the Samsung Galaxy M40 from the latter. The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a punch-hole display, triple camera and more. The massive Samsung Galaxy M40 packs a large 6.3″ PLS LCD display. The display is of the Full HD+ variety touting a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The aspect ratio of the same is 19.5:9. The Galaxy M40 wallpapers have the same aspect ratio and resolution. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The churning is done by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. The chipset is aided by a generous 6GB of RAM. Storage-wise, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is embedded with 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded via the MicroSD card slot (max. 1TB).

The Samsung Galaxy M40 features three cameras at the rear. Firstly, we do have a 32MP primary sensor. Secondly, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens shooter. And to conclude the three cam fest, a 5MP depth sensor is present. As for the front camera, a 16MP hole-in-the-screen camera is an upfront for “self-obsessed people”.
The rear and the forward-facing camera can record videos at a resolution of up to 4K @ 30fps and Full HD @ 30fps respectively.
Battery power, connectivity, and Android OS
A decent enough 3500mAh battery is onboard the Samsung Galaxy M40 to keep the lights on. Charging is done via the USB-C port. With that said, the Samsung Galaxy features fast charging (15W).
Coming to the connectivity, it has you all covered with Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE. GPS is available for navigation and location-based services. A 3.5mm audio jack is here to stay.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes pre-installed with Android 9.0 Pie based on One UI.

The Samsung Galaxy M40 retails for INR 19,990 and is available on Amazon India. The device is available in Seawater Blue and Midnight Blue paint jobs.
