Disclaimer:
In the world of ours everything come with a price and it applies to rooting to. As soon as you root your Galaxy Premier, you will lose its warranty. In either case, the developer of the CF-ROOT, that is Chainfire, or we at Droidviews will not be responsible for any damage done to your Galaxy Premier while following the method given below.
Preparations before Rooting Galaxy Premier:
Here are a few resource that you need to download and few precautions that demand your attention before you set out to root your Galaxy Premier.
- Download the rooting package compiled by Chainfire and extract it: CF-Auto-Root-superior-superiorxx-gti9260.zip
- Also download the Odin3 if you do not have it and extract the zip: Odin3-v3.04_Droidviews.com.zip

- Charge your Galaxy Premier so that it has a decent level of battery life.

Hey i got samsung galaxy pop/e220s n i have been through hell trying a way to root it but all methods have failed (framaroot. kingo..srs)) kindly help me plz
Hi Rakesh,
I have rooted my phone. This is a China bought phone.
Unfortunately this phone doesnot have a google play store.
How do I install the same, also wanted to get maps as well.
I stay in India.
Regards,
Soumyansu
Unfortunately Chinese models do not support any of the Google apps. Try rooting your phone and install an AOSP based ROM and flash Gapps.
Hi Rakesh,
Kindly help me with the same. I have rooted the phone as in installed the “CF-Auto-Root-superior-superiorxx-gti9260.tar.md5”. But dont know if root has been done properly. In play store there are apps to determine the same but as you know there is no play store so cant be sure.
Also even if the root is complete what would be my next step.
Please help with the website or URL from where I can download the ROM and the Gapps.
Also the URL from where I can download the AOSP ROM specific to this mobile.
Regards,
Soumyansu
If you can see SuperSU in the app drawer, you should have rot access. To get the Google apps or download aps from the play store, try three things:
1. Try the Apk file from this page: https://www.droidviews.com/download-google-apps-gapps-for-your-android-device-on-gbicsjb/
2. Try installing the Google apps zip package using CWM. Try this package: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miuiandroid/releases/gapps/miuiandroid_gapps-4.1.2-small_signed.zip
3. Use Moborobo: https://www.droidviews.com/moborobo-is-the-most-versatile-cross-platform-desktop-utility-for-android-and-ios/
Let me know which one works.
Hi Rakesh,
I do see the SuperSU in the app drawer and it seems the rooting was successful.
I installed the Moborobo it works perfectly but for all other apps other than google.
I tried installing the google play store and maps and gmail none of them worked.
Maps is showing but unable to find my locations even when GPS, Wifi are turned on.
Play store shows in the app drawer but you cant open it as it closes immediately.
Same is with gmail as well it doesnot open.
Any other other work around or I think I have to install the custom rom for this to work.
If I have to install the custom rom which is the rom I download and how do I install it?
Thanks for all your help
Regards,
Soumyansu
Hmm. Did you try to flash the gapps.
If it does not work, try a custom ROM.
Hi Rakesh,
How do I flash the gapps?

Soumyansu
