OnePlus released a new smartphone earlier last month which has now become the flagship smartphone of the company for 2017. This smartphone has been named as the OnePlus 5T and the smartphone also becomes the successor to the OnePlus 5 which was launched as the flagship smartphone from the company in the middle of 2017. If you have unlocked the bootloader and rooted your OP 5T, here’s a way to restore OnePlus 5T to stock and relock the bootloader again.
The OnePlus 5T has some upgrades in the hardware department from the OnePlus 5 which was launched earlier. The first noticeable change on the OnePlus 5T from the OnePlus 5 is that the smartphone now has an edge-to-edge display which covers most of the front portion of the smartphone. Thus, it means that there is no more room to fit in the fingerprint sensor on the front of OnePlus 5T. Therefore, the OnePlus 5T has a fingerprint sensor on the back which was located at the front of the OnePlus 5.
Now, one more thing that we have known about OnePlus smartphones from the past is that the company has become popular among its fans for being the most developer-friendly OEM among all the OEM that has been operating in the market. The reason for this reputation of OnePlus is because all of the OnePlus smartphones come with an unlockable bootloader which can be done extremely easy and you don’t even have to request a code for unlocking the bootloader on your smartphone. Apart from that, if you mess up your device and you have unlocked your bootloader then also the company offers a warranty which is not the case with each and every other OEM currently in the market.
This means that if you have bought the recently launched OnePlus 5T and you are a fan of Custom ROMs then you would have already installed a Custom Recovery along with a Custom ROM on the market. However, it may happen that you are now bored with the custom ROM that you are using for some reason and you want to go to Stock ROM and Stock Recovery including relocking the bootloader which enables us to install official updates once again then we have put up a detailed guide below which helps you to do exactly the same.
