Realme X Specifications

Display, processor & storage

Realme’s foray into the premium segment while maintaining the affordability and capability brings us the Realme X. The glass sandwich smartphone employs a no-notch 6.5-inch 1080p+ AMOLED panel. Speaking of the panel, it is draped in Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The performance-in charge is the capable upper-mid range Qualcomm Snapdragon 710. Qualcomm’s SD 710 midrange SoC is built on a 10nm FinFet process ensuring good efficiency and reliability. The RAM and storage configurations include a basic 4GB + 64GB, mid-level 6GB + 64GB and a top of the line 8GB + 128GB variant. A memory card slot is unavailable on the Realme X.

Pop-up your selfie game

The selfie shooter on the Realme X gets the pop-up camera treatment. As you might have guessed it, the 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera rests on a motorized platform that pops up during selfie shots or while using the face-unlock feature. Video-selfies can be shot at a resolution of up to 1080p @ 30 fps.

On the back of the Realme X is a primary 48MP (f/1.7) (PDAF) sensor in combination with a depth-sensing 5MP (f/2.4) camera. The primary camera uses Pixel-binning technology that combines 4 pixels into one for a final 12MP image. As expected, videos at a resolution of up to 2160p @ 30 fps can be recorded using the Realme X’s primary cam.

Battery Power and charging, connectivity and Android version

A generous 3765 mAh is onboard the Realme X for keeping through its paces. With that said, the Realme X comes equipped with Oppo’s VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 technology. As a result, the technology helps charge the battery from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Coming to the connectivity, it has you all covered with Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE. GPS is available for navigation and location-based services. Thankfully, an audio jack is onboard the Realme X.

The Realme X ships with Android 9.0 Pie based Oppo ColorOS 6 from day one.
