Oppo’s Reno series of smartphones have been creating headlines with their shark fin front camera. Today, Oppo unveiled the fourth model in the Reno series called Reno Z. The Reno Z is a mid-range device sporting the new powerful MediaTek Helio P90 chipset sans the shark fin camera. Also today you can download the Oppo Reno Z wallpapers. Oppo Reno Z: Watered down Reno

The Oppo Reno Z is the least expensive model in the company’s Reno series of smartphones. The Visuals on the Oppo Reno Z’s handled by a beautiful 6.4 Full HD+ AMOLED panel. The resolution of the panel is 1080 x 2340 and the aspect ratio is 19.5:9 (same goes for the Oppo Reno Z wallpapers).
The workload is managed by the MediaTek Helio P90 chipset. It is a new and powerful chipset from MediaTek. The Oppo Reno Z features very odd storage and RAM configuration. The 256 GB storage model is backed up by 6GB of RAM. Whereas, the 128GB gets 8GB RAM, strange at its best!
A simple dual cam setup
The Oppo Reno Z handles photography with a 48MP (f/1.7) primary camera. The primary shooter is assisted by a 5MP (f/2.4) depth sensor for those artificial bokeh pictures. Moving on, a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera is present onboard. Both primary and secondary cams are able to shoot videos at 2160p @ 30fps and 1080p @ 30fps respectively.
Power pack and fast charging, connectivity and Android version
Powering the internals is an adequate 4035 mAh battery inside the Oppo Reno Z. With that said, the Reno Z has got the VOOC 3.0 fast charging (20 W) technology for fast charging (18W). A USB-C port is available for charging and data transfers.
As far as connectivity is concerned, it has you all covered with Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE. GPS is available for navigation and location-based services. Thankfully, a 3.5mm headphone jack is available on the Oppo Reno Z.
As for the Android version, the Oppo Reno Z brings along a freshly baked Android 9.0 Pie topped by ColorOS 6.0.
Pricing, availability and paint jobs
As far as pricing is concerned, the Oppo Reno Z will retail for approx $362 and will be available for starting June 6 in China. As for worldwide availability, it is yet to be known and confirmed. Color options include Bead White, Night Black, Star Purple, and Coral Orange.
