One of the devices the smartphone enthusiasts have been eager to hear about in 2017 is the LG G6. The device has been rumored several times before, but now it seems like we might actually get a good look at it. The potential release date of the handset might have been revealed through company invitations sent out by LG. The invitations were for the MWC 2017 event which takes place on the 26th of February.
According to the invitations, which bore the darkened shape of a smartphone, LG will be attending the MWC and will go onstage at 4:40 PM, on the centre stage. The event will take place in Barcelona and a new LG device is just one of the things that will get unveiled. The G6 has been rumored for quite some time and a lot of specs have been flying around.ย Some speculations are more likely to take shape than others however, so here is the approximate configuration people might see at the MWC.
Hereโs an early look at the configuration the new LG might have:
- A 5.7 inch display using QHD tech;
- A Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processing unit;
- A total of 6 GB of RAM;
- A Quick Charge 4.0 supported battery unit.
LGโs G6 handset will have to pack quite a punch if it wants to be able to stand up to the competition. Several manufacturers have already announced their involvement with unveiling new handsets at the event, such as more Nokia phones from HMD, a new Galaxy S8 Samsung flagship and also a return from Xiaomi on the grand stage.
The multitude of devices announced and/or expected at MWC is quite a compelling argument to make if youโre trying to convince someone to go. If youโre an LG fan, there are even more so reasons because you can witness the unveiling of the latest device the brand has put out.
