We already had the update rolling out for Xperia T a little while back. And so now SONY made its confirmation for Xperia V and TX too.
According to the OEM, the update is ready to be staged for the first batch of devices which includes Xperia T, V & TX. The next batch shall include several other devices supporting this 4.1 update. SONY has made its best deal to spread its butter of Xperia Software over Google’s Jelly Bean bread. Lets see how this butter tastes well with the bread, so here is a peak to the incoming features and improvements.
Updated Media Apps With Improved Interface
SONY’s Media Apps like WALKMAN, Albums and Movies have been given a good improvisation with time. It will now be a labeled Library that would actually shout out your media.
Increased Personalization Capabilities
The UI and the Homescreen content has been modified and revamped to a whole new look with upto 7 panes, auto adjusting andย re-sizableย widgets. You shall now modify the UI to the extent you want and create your own hub.
Improved Search Functionality
Jelly Bean brought a whole new Search feature under the name “Google Now”, as it already says “Know the Now”. The Google Now feature lets you accomplish your daily schedules and organizers within single taps.
Camera Updates
New feature additions include Auto Scene Setting and Front/Back Camera Switching, with more improvements in the quality.
The updates are ready to be out to the respective users with the month of February. At the second the update is out, you shall receive update notifications on your Xperia Handset itself for an Over-The-Air update.
