Some manufacturers like Samsung, LG and Sony tried to introduce similar feed feature but nobody could equal HTC’s BlinkFeed. This easy-to-access feature, which had been exclusive to HTC smartphones only, can now be enjoyed on all non-HTC devices.

Thus, you can get the HTC One M9’s home launcher and widgets on any device. If you like HTC’s BlinkFeed launcher and want to have it on your phone you just download the apps and install them as directed below.
HTC BlinkFeed gives you live feeds from your favorite topics, selected channels and social media like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Flickr, etc. The port also includes the HTC home launcher, you’ll also be able to experience the clock-weather and other widgets on your phone, regardless of the OEM. How to Install
- All ported apps and plugins are available as Apk files. Download them all.
- Copy the downloaded files to your device.
- Enable Unknown sources option from Settings> Security.
- Go to the Apk files and install them one by one.
- In case the BlinkFeed launcher does not work when installed as a normal app, you will have to root the device to make it work. Install a root file manager app on your rooted phone and push the Apk files to System/apps directory. Do not forget to fix/set file permissions to RW-R–R– (0644) after pushing the files and then reboot the phone.
Once installed the apps and plugins, launch the BlinkFeed launcher app on your device and start playing with it. Cheers!

If it doesn’t work on your phone (and you have root), you can also move the apps to /system with Link2sd (on the Play Store)

QUESTION… I currently have a Galaxy note 4 with touchwiz. Is there anyway I could just have the blinkfeed (like a widget) but on my touchwiz or do I have to bee running the sensehome? Also my blinkfeed is doing nothing but constantly loading but no news or articles are appearing no matter how many times I refresh it.
BlinkFeed is an integral part of the Sense home launcher, so you can’t use it as a widget over TW launcher. As for content not loading issue, check if you have installed the plugins too.
All ins installed. Blinkfeed just refuses to load any feed after being refreshed. I can choose my interest and preference of sources but nothing loads up.
Try clearing app data and cache for Blinkfeed from Settings> Apps.

It’s my fault and lack of understanding of how mega worked. I was putting in just mega:// and not the https:// portion. Sorry for being an idiot! I got them all working and absolutely love having blinkfeed on my nexus 7 tablet.
