OmniROM is well known for their Legacy builds. Though it made 40ย Kitkat ROMs, they managed well and ported ROMs for latest and greatest Android Lollipop. OmniROM was in news and articles for its glimpses in multi-window feature past few years and looks like they have done their job very well. Back inย January they started rolling out nightlies for Android 5.1.1 to all the successful devices.
Over the past few months OmniROM developersย and contributors have been working diligently in order to deliver the best user experience. At this point in time, they have confidence in the stability of codebase, as such 5.1.1 nightly releases based on Android Lollipop have begun! Currently only few of their ROMs can be used as daily drivers. Today on DroidViews we present you a way to sweeten your Motorola Xoom. Can install in Xoom 3G?
I installed on my MZ604 wifi xoom. It worked for a while. Later, the programs started stopping. Camera was not working. So, I went back to EOS wingray/stringray 4.4.4; Now, I could not find the right Flash Player. Also, I have to stop google app update to avoid annoying stop error.
I would appreciate if your could give any updated 5.1.1

How can I determine the model number of my Xoom tablet? I don’t have the original box and in the “about” section it merely says Xoom. I am currently running Omni-Rom version
omni-4.4.4-20141130-1704+0100-wingray-HOMEMADE and I would like to give 5.1.1 a try but don’t want to brick my tablet. Thanks
It does not work unless it is Big Part Partitioned. You missed that part. Need to download the TWRP Big Part at https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23991606952607491. Also, the BaNKs Gapps failed to flash. I am trying another guide at http://forum.xda-developers.com/motorola-xoom/development/rom-omnirom-wingray-bigpart-alpha-t3147007. Hope that works.
