Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei unveiled the Huawei P Smart (Enjoy 7s for the Chinese market) back in December 2017. The Huawei P Smart is a metal-clad smartphone. The phone features a 5.45in 18:9 Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Huawei P Smart is powered by a Kirin 659 SoC coupled with a Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, 6GB of RAM on the 64GB storage variant and 4GB of RAM on the 32GB storage variant. Quite naturally, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot (utilizes the SIM2 slot) present in the device that can handle cards of size up to 256 GB. A fingerprint scanner is located at the rear and possibly Huawei’s flavor of face unlock are onboard the Huawei P Smart.
Camera
Photography is handled by a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a primary 13MP + 2MP depth sensors combo assisted by a single LED flash. An 8MP selfie shooter is up front for the selfieholics out there. The front and rear camera can record videos at a resolution of up to 1080p @ 30 fps.
Power, connectivity and Android OS
A 3000 mAh battery is onboard the Huawei Mate P Smart to keep the lights on and also the device is topped up via the obsolete Micro-USB port and having said that the device also features fast battery charging. Coming to the connectivity side of the Huawei Mate P Smart, it has you covered with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE with A2DP, GPS for navigation and location-based services and more. Thankfully, the device is equipped with the good old 3.5mm headphone jack we all love. The Huawei P Smart ran Android 8.0 based EMUI 8.0 out of the box at launch.

As for pricing, The Huawei P Smart will set you back $197 at Amazon.com. The P Smart is available in Black, Gold, and Blue paint jobs.
Design: iPhone 6ish rear panel look
Design-wise, the Huawei P Smart looks like many other smartphones with an 18:9 screen and minimal bezels top and bottom. However, Flip the Huawei P Smart and the rear design reminds us of third highest selling phone of all time and also the highest sold iPhone ever, the good and trusty old iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. There is no denying the fact that Huawei was only and only inspired by the iPhone 6 for that rear panel design (barring the fingerprint sensor).
