The long-awaited Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware update has finally started rolling out for HTC One X users. The Jelly Bean update is currently making its way to unlocked HTC One X with CID_038 and CID_044 in UK, Russia, Dominican Republic, India, Argentina, Peru, Sri Lanka, and Brazil.
It will hopefully be available to all One X users in coming days across the globe. The Android 4.1.1 update will be available in two phases. In the first phase, the One X user will get the update in a smaller package with only 1.6 MB in size, which will be followed by a bigger and final installment of 364.54MB download.
All updates are available via OTA. You can manually check for the availability of ย Android 4.1.1 for your region/country this way: Settings> About> Sofware updates> Check Now.
