Huawei just launched the Honor 8 and Honor 8X Max and today we got the Honor 8X Stock Wallpapers in full HD+ resolution. Honor, which is a sub-brand from Huawei, has just announced their latest smartphones. This smartphone comes in the mid-range segment from Honor named as the Honor 8X. Last year, the company launched Honor 8X’s predecessor which was the Honor 7X. The smartphone has now been launched by Honor in China. Also, Honor 8X is expected to be launched in India and other countries in the coming months.

Honor 8X Design

In terms of design, the Honor 8X is clearly an upgrade from the Honor 7X. First of all, the Honor 8X now has a notch in the middle of the display. Also, there is a very minimal chin at the bottom of the smartphone. Most of the changes on the Honor 8X are at the back, however. The body is now made of glass which gives the smartphone a premium look and feel. This is obviously a major change from the metal construction which was present on the Honor 7X. Also, the dual camera setup on the back is now vertical same as the iPhone X. Besides the dual camera setup, there is a fingerprint sensor as well.

Honor 8X Specifications

Honor 8X is power-packed in terms of specifications as well. The display of the Honor 8X is a 6.5-inch Full HD+ panel along with a very weird aspect ratio of 18.7:9. This aspect ratio is weird because we have seen smartphones with either 16:9, 18:9 or 19:9 ratios so far. On the processing front, the Honor 8X is powered by Kirin 710 processor.

The device comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants along with 64GB and 128GB internal storage capacity respectively. Also, the Honor 8X supports storage expansion via microSD card as well. The Honor 8X has a sufficiently large battery capacity of 3750 mAh which is non-removable in nature. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box based on Huawei’s EMUI 8.2.

Honor 8X Camera

As we mentioned earlier, the Honor 8X has a dual camera setup on the back. This camera setup contains a 20MP primary camera whereas the secondary camera is a 12MP one. There is just a single camera on the front which is a 16MP shooter for taking selfies and videos.
