Xiaomi has launched the latest device from the company in the Xiaomi Mi Mix series which has been named as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. The launch of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S took place in an event that was organized by the company recently in Shanghai, China. As far as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is concerned, this device is the successor to the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 that was launched last year. The Mi Mix 2S from Xiaomi is similar to the Mi Mix 2 in looks but there are some improvements from the previous smartphone on the Mi Mix 2S.
As far as the improvements to the Mi Mix 2S are concerned, the device now comes with a vertical dual camera setup on the back which is mostly similar to the iPhone X from Apple. Also, the smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor as well as latest version of Android. Along with that, the front camera is still present on the chin of the phone same as the Mi Mix 2.
In terms of specifications of the Mi Mix 2S, the smartphone has a 5.99-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio display at a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Mi Mix 2S is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor from Qualcomm. Along with that, the device also consists of up to 8GB of RAM and the internal storage on the phone goes all the way up to 256GB on the highest variant of the smartphone.
Talking about the cameras on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, the device has a dual camera setup on the back as we already mentioned earlier. This dual camera setup comprises of a 12MP primary camera along with a 12MP secondary camera on the back. On the front is a 5MP camera for front-facing videos as well as selfies.
Apart from that, the device runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9. The Mi Mix 2S from Xiaomi comes with a 3400 mAh non-removable battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 support as well for faster charging. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S has been launched in Ceramic White and Ceramic Black variants in terms of color options.
