The Vivo X23 is here featuring a waterdrop notch, Snapdragon 670 SoC and an in-display fingerprint scanner. And, today we have the Vivo X23 Stock Wallpapers in FHD+ resolution with 1080 x 2340 px size.
Specifications
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo introduced the X23 premium mid-range smartphone a few days ago in China. The Vivo X23 features a new waterdrop notch for the 6.41in Full HD+ tall 19:9 notched AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080px.
The Vivo X23 is powered by an all-new premium mid-range Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC coupled with an Adreno 615 GPU along with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Thankfully, a MicroSD card slot (utilizes SIM 2 slot) that can handle cards of up to 256GB is present in the X23 for expandable storage. An in-display fingerprint scanner is onboard in the Vivo X23 and an IR scanner is featured upfront which is built into the water drop notch for face unlock is also available as biometric authentication options.
Camera
Photography is handled by a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a 12MP (f/1.8) + ultra-wide 13MP (f/2.4) sensors combination. The rear camera is assisted by a single LED flash. Up front, the Vivo X23 features a 12MP selfie camera with its lens again having an aperture of f/2.0. Both the rear and front-facing camera are assisted by AI (AI Beauty and AI Portrait) for better shots. AI Face Beauty mode can help the camera understand whether the subject is male or female, age, skin tone, and surrounding light and adjust accordingly for better portrait photos. The camera at the rear and front can records videos at a resolution of up to 4K @ 30fps and 1080p @ 30fps respectively.
Battery, connectivity and Android version
A decent enough 3400 mAh battery is onboard the Vivo X23 to keep the lights on. Most likely, the device is equipped with the obsolete and outdated MicroUSB port (if anybody could confirm, please), however fast charging (22.5W) is onboard to make up for this. Coming to the connectivity side of the Vivo X23, it has you covered with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 LE with A2DP, GPS and more. Thankfully enough, the Vivo has retained the good old headphone jack that we all love on the X23. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Vivo’s Funtouch OS 4.5 custom UI out of the box.
Pricing, color options, and availability
The Vivo X23 will retail for approx. CNY3,500/Rs. 36,700. The X23 will be available in Phantom Red, Phantom Purple, Midnight Blue, a special edition Fashion Purple, and Fashion Orange paint jobs. The X23 will start shipping on September 14 in China. Worldwide availability is yet to be known and confirmed.
Design: OEMs are all so obsessed with the design of the iPhone or Apple products in general
Why are most of the OEMs impersonating the Apple iPhone X? Simple: it provides consumers with a choice of carrying around a phone that imitates the most popular phone in the market made by the most valuable brand. Hence, boosting sales for Vivo.
Design wise, at first glance, the Vivo X23 looks better than the iPhone X by employing a much smaller waterdrop style notch. Speaking of which, there is no denying the fact that Vivo was only and only inspired by the “FruitPhone X” for that vertical rear camera module design.
