The LG X Screen is a low-to-mid-end smartphone from the Korean giant. It was launched about a year ago. The name of the phone is a bit allusive because it creates the impression of featuring a huge and sharp display.

Actually, the “X” in LG X Screen doesn’t stand for the extra-large size but for the titular or ticker display placed just above the main display. The resolution of the secondary display is 520 x 80 px and it measures 1.76 inches. The display remains on even when the main display turns off and it always keeps showing useful info and notifications like the time, date, battery level, and notification icons from your apps.

As for the main display of the X Screen, it sports a modestly sized 4.93-inch display with 720 x 1080 px resolution (298 PPI pixel density) but it looks crisp enough because of the small size of the screen.

The LG X Screen is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and the Adreno 306 as GPU. The RAM is 2 GB and the internal storage is just 16 GB. Thanks to the microSD card support that can support up to 256 GB.

While the above specs are just normal for a phone of X Screen’s stature, it is the camera department where the device shines out. The phone features a 13 MP primary camera with LED flash and an 8 MP selfie camera that make the LG X Screen more than a low-end phone.

Coming to the battery, the phone comes with a 2300 mAh juicer that’s just okay if not very good. The X screen has a solid design, good performance, satisfactory battery life, powerful camera and a secondary ticker screen that gives it an extra edge. All these things come at a very affordable price tag that makes this phone a reasonable choice.
