If you have been owning an Android device for quite some time and like to play with custom ROMs, you might have either used or at least heard of the ChameleonOS ROM. In case you are not familiar with it let me brief that ChaOS (just a short name for the ROM) is rather a new venture in the great Android custom development community started by an ever-growing group of developers dedicated to adding something new through their activity.
The ChaOS ROM aims at new innovations to AOSP (Android Open Source Project) with new features and a beautiful looking user interface. Just like CyanogenMod and MIUI, ChaOS features compatibility for completing theming of the Android framework, system UI and various other elements. The rise of this ROM was eventual especially after the bad move made by MIUI by confining an Open Source thing to a closed environment with their notorious theme authorization. This step pushed thousands of users away from the once-favorite ROM that was known best for its themes.
The ChaOS ROM attempts to fill that void and contribute more to quench the thirst of those who love to use themes on their Android devices. The ROM already has a big number of themes, many of them being ported from MIUI and others, that you can download and use on your phone for free. To further accelerate the theming activity and provide its users with some more quality themes, the guys behind ChaOS have now launched an exciting theme contest, inviting the theme-makers from around the globe to produce some beautiful work.
If you think you can make a new theme with a fresh look, whether or not you are established themer, a new one or just a person with a flair for creating something new, it’s a great opportunity for you to claim some prize and big recognition among Android users!

- Wallpaper

- Composed icons (background, mask, and foreground).
