Asus has just launched two new budget smartphones for the Indian market. With the availability of the phones, we also have the Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 wallpapers for you to download. Let’s get the specifications out of the way before we jump into the wallpapers onboard.
The Flipkart exclusive Asus Zenfone Max M1 and Zenfone Lite L1 are two new entry-level devices for India.
Asus Zenfone Max M1 specs
Display, CPU, and biometrics
Popular Taiwanese manufacturer Asus debuted the budget-oriented Zenfone Max M1 a couple of days ago at a launch event in India. The smartphone features a 5.45in HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 and an aspect ratio of 16:10. It is powered by an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with an Adreno 505 GPU along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. As usual, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot present in the device that can handle cards of size up to 256GB. A fingerprint scanner and possibly Asus face unlock is also onboard the Asus Zenfone Max M1.
Camera
Photography is handled by a simple single camera setup at the rear of the Zenfone Max M1 featuring a 13MP (f/2.0 lens) assisted by a single LED flash. The rear camera is able to record videos at a resolution of to 1080 @ 30fps. Selfies are handled by an 8MP (f/2.0 lens) sensor upfront the Zenfone Max M1 and the camera can record videos at a resolution of up to 1080p @ 30fps (not confirmed).
Power, connectivity and Android version
A massive 4000mAh battery is onboard the Asus Zenfone Max M1 to keep it ticking on and on. Coming to the connectivity side of the Asus Zenfone Max M1, it has you covered with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE with A2DP, GPS for location-based services and more. Thankfully, the device features the good old headphone jack we all love. The Zenfone Max M1 runs on Asus ZenUI 5.0 based on Android 8.0 out of the box.
Availability, pricing, and colors
The Asus Zenfone Max M1 will be available for purchase in India exclusively on Flipkart during Flipkart Dhamaka Days sales which kicks off on October 24. With that said, the Zenfone Max M1 will cost INR 7,499 as part of the introductory offer, later the price will jump up to INR 8,999. The device will be available in Deepsea Black or Sunlight Gold paint jobs.
Design: the back panel design reminds us of the iPhone X
As far as design is concerned, up front, the Zenfone Max M1 looks much like most other smartphones in the market today. However, flip the device and you can see that Asus has clearly taken inspiration from the Apple iPhone X for the vertical camera module design.

Asus also debuted the entry-level Zenfone Lite L1 at the same launch event. The smartphone features a 5.45in HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by an entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Octa-core SoC coupled with an Adreno 505 GPU along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. As usual, there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot present in the device that can handle cards of size up to 256GB. A fingerprint scanner and possibly Asus face unlock is also onboard the Asus Zenfone Lite L1.
