Coolpad is one of China’s largest smartphone maker which has been gradually expanding its territory to other Asian countries, especially in countries like China where people want to spend less and get more. If you live outside Asia, you might not have heard about this brand, but Coolpad has been gaining popularity in many emerging markets.
Not too long ago, the Chinese launched the latest device in its mid-range portfolio. The phone is called Coolpad CoolPlay 6 and it packs a host of features and a powerful hardware.
According to the OEM, the CoolPlay 6 is mainly a gaming smartphone sporting a mammoth battery. Costing around $200, the phone has a metal frame, USB Type-C port, and a fingerprint sensor. Among CoolPlay 6’s salient features include a 5.5-inch full HD display with (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset, Adreno 510 as GPU, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card.
As for the camera, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 sports a dual camera with 2 13 MP sensors on the back and an 8 MP sensor on the front. Since the CoolPlay 6 is primarily a gaming device, it features a powerful 4060mAh battery that claims to let users enjoy 6 hours of extreme gaming and 8 hours of internet browsing.
