The Canvas 6 Pro is a lower-mid-level budget phone from the Indian OEM Micromax which is pretty popular there. Personally, I am not a fan of this brand because it doesn’t have a single smartphone in its portfolio that can match the quality and performance of international mobile brands.
Not too long ago, the company launched an aggressive ad campaign in order to assert itself. “Nuts, Guts and Glory” is the tagline of Micromax and the Canvas 6 Pro is the first phone after Micromax rebranded itself. So, the question is, does Canvas 6 Pro really lives up to the hype of nuts, guts, and glory?
Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is a successor to the Canvas 6 but the “pro” version is a bit less worthy because it’s worse in build quality and lacks various features found on the older phone. Specification-wise, the Canvas 6 Pro is more of a ‘light’ version of the Canvas 6.
The Canvas 6 Pro doesn’t have anything remarkable about its design, build that’s dominated by plastic or hardware configuration. It’s just an ‘Okay’ phone with decent features like 5.5-inch full HD display, MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core processor that is clocked at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot that can take up to 64 GB. As for the camera, The 6 Pro has a 13 MP camera with LED flash at its back and a 5 MP selfie shooter on the front. The phone has a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
