Eventually, all the Samsung Galaxy devices are being updated to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware. Some of the variants of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 have been receiving the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware. However, some of the variants are still on Android 5.0.2 version. You can find the stock firmware in the download section. Moreover, if you have modified your system or flashed a custom ROM and want to revert back to stock then with this tutorial you can install the latest firmware available.
To update your phone to the latest firmware, you need an Odin software made available to the Samsung Galaxy users for flashing a range of things including firmware, custom recovery, CF-Auto-Root and more. Odin performs a clean install that means, it removes the old firmware and flashes a new one.
Going through this procedureย will restore everything to stock including the stock recovery. So any changes to your device like root, custom recovery and others will be lost. As it will perform a clean install, all your apps, data could be lost.ย So if you are new to the installation process, then weย have got you covered. Just follow the instructions carefully.
