On the 17th of August, Google’s Android development team rolled out the 3rd and final developer preview of Android M [Marshmallow / 6.0] along with the Android 6.0 SDK tools for developers. As always the preview release only came for the Nexus devices [5,6 & 9] . As is the case with all Android rollouts, the OS is probably going to be launched this fall along with 2 new Nexus devices [ rumoured to be LG’s Nexus 5 2015 aka Bullhead and Huawei Nexus aka Angler].
While that may already be in the past, the curious question with every Android version release is whether our devices will be among the ones blessed with support. Going by the current trends & configurations, we have compiled a list of devices by manufacturer that are most likely to receive an Android Marshmallow upgrade. Read with bated breath and let us know what device you were expecting to see [or not see].
