Hi, i try to root my phone. Unfortunately i stored the SuperSU-zip-File in the main memory, not in the SD card. Is there any chance to locate the file? It was not stated that the file has to be stored in the card memory. Any idea how to proceed?
Reboot system, copy the zip to card and try again. Also, you would see option to browse files on internal storage too. What options do you see in PhilZ recovery?
thank you. In the options I tested the browse files option, but browsing was restricted to the card. I then removed the card from the phone and copied the file via the desktop computer to the card, but when I started the phone, the normal system was booted insted of PhilZ. I tried to repeat the whole procedure, but actually Odin does not recognize my phone (first time it did…). I removed Kies and reinstalled the lates USB samsung drivers for mobile phones without success. I’ll try it with older Samsung USB driver versions, may be this helps.
Looks convincing, I will try it.
i have samsung galaxy note 2 & running 4.4.2 kikkat, After entering boot mode the phone is not getting connected to pc…. please help me how to connect
Try these:
1. Reinstall the USB drivers.
2. Toggle USB debugging
3. Restart PC and device
4. Try a different USB cable.
After booting Recovery, it only appears Update from ADB, and Update from
External device, but when I select update from external and choose the SuperSU file, it doesn work, it doesnt let me install supersu… can anyone help me?
It means you have not installed this: philz_touch_6.26.6-n7100.tar.md5
You are trying to install SuperUser zip via stock recovery and that is why it fails. Install PhilZ recovery and flash super using via it.
Thx Rakesh, iยดll try again to install the Philz recovery, and the install the SuperSU.
after entering boot mode the phone is not getting connected to pc..
