What Does Superboot Do?
Superboot is a boot.img or a kernel image file, when flashed to your Moto G will Install SU binaries and APK, in turn rooting your device the very first time you boot. The plus point added is, you don’t need to ย wipe any data partitions or overwrite the current ROM, all you need to do is to boot your device with Superboot and voila! you’ll have it rooted.

Prerequisites

Root Moto G (Windows/MAC/Linux)

- Download Superboot (r2-motog-superboot.zip): Click Here
- Extract the downloadedย r2-motog-superboot.zip and extract it to a suitable location.
- Power off the device, press volume down and power button all together to boot your Moto G into bootloader mode.

- Windows user, run superboot-windows.bat as Administrator.
- MAC users,ย Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type the following commands:

- Linux users,ย Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type the following commands:
