Android is an awesome platform for smartphones and tablet devices. It offers more features, apps an choice of devices to users. Most of the world’s greatest OEMs manufacture Android devices and, as a result, we have hundreds of device models to choose from. Being of different screen sizes, Android does not have a universal resolution for wallpapers. Thus, if you have a low or mid-end smartphone, you will not be able to apply a wallpaper with bigger resolution and vice versa.

well I just downloaded the “best app” the Image 2 Wallpaper, and it was simple enough to use, but it STILL doesn’t show the entire picture! It’s better than what I had, so I’ll leave it, but just wanted to throw that out there!

If you don’t have any internet connection,you may:
1. Open the file you want for home screen wallpaper (let’s say “Picture A”)
2. Press your Menu>>set as>>choose as Home and lock screens (You now have Picture A as a wallpaper for your Home Screen and Lock Screen without cropping)
3. Next, open the file you want for lock screen wallpaper (let’s say “Picture B”), and set it as your lock screen wallpaper (for lock screen wallpaper,cropping is not required unlike for the home screen wallpaper)

This is great. You’re right — this is one of those aggravations I run into all the time, yet I’ve never looked into how to get around it. I intend to try these apps one by one to see which one works the best. I’m constantly changing my wallpaper (yes, I’m one of those) so simplifying the process would be a great benefit. I tried them all and like Image 2 the best. Unfortunately, it broke wallpaper scrolling on my S3. I was fine with that when setting wallpaper with this app, but when I went back to setting it the old fashioned way, it still wouldn’t scroll. Could be just a one-time glitch. I’ll fool around with it some more when I’m fresh in the morning. Good stuff. Thanks for passing it along.
