Chinese smartphone maker Meizu introduced the mid-range Meizu Note 8 back in October of 2018. The Meizu Note 8 is powered by a lower mid-range grade Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU aided by 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is fine enough at 64GB. Quite surprisingly, a dedicated MicroSD card slot is not available in the device for expanded storage (if anybody could confirm, please).
Providing visuals is a 6.0-inch 1080 x 2160 pixels Full HD+ IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 402PPI. As expected on any smartphone nowadays, the Meizu Note 8 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner at the back for biometric authentication.
Camera system
Photography is handled by a dual camera at the rear: A 12MP main sensor (f/1.9) (Dual Pixel AF) + 5MP depth sensor combination assisted by a dual-LED dual-tone flash. An 8MP (f/2.0) selfie shooter is featured up front. Both rear and front-facing cams can record at a resolution of up to 1080p @ 30fps.

An impressive 3600mAh battery is onboard the giant Meizu Note 8 to provide more than enough juice to keep it ticking on and on. Also, the phone comes bundled with an 18W Adaptive Fast Charging charger to top it up fast enough in the morning via the outdated and obsolete Micro-USB port.
Coming to the connectivity side of the Meizu Note 8, it has you covered with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, A2DP and EDR, GPS for navigation and location-based services and much much more. Thankfully, the device features the good old headphone jack we all have been loving for years. The Meizu Note 8 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based Flyme UI out of the box.
