It has been a while since we had a cup of coffee over racing games at DroidViews. So, this week we finally decided to put light on the best racing games of all time including the new releases. So, here are our final thoughts. Before that let me tell you that we have considered all the factors including, size, features, compatibility, graphics, gameplay, blah, blah, blah!
If you think that there is a game that should be probably in top 5 but isn’t then there must be a good reason for it of not being here. Today, I will be guiding you through this entire review. So, without any delay let’s get started.
1. Horizon Chase – World Tour
This game had to be on top, not because of its compatibility or size which sure does matter, but because this is the best 16-bit game with such a reinvented graphics. Truly impressive and unbelievable!
The game features a tour through the world’s horizons. With each new cup, the racer is allowed to pilot his car through extraordinary places such as volcanic ashes and severe sandstorms. This classics arcade game features friendly challenge, 16 unlockable cars, 9 cups, 36 cities and 83 tracks to win, travel and race through.

Talking of input compatibility this game drives me nuts. This game has 7 input methods which include Android TV controller and remote, Google Nexus Player controller and remote, Green Throttle Atlas, NVIDIA Shield, OUYA controller, Samsun GP20 and Razer Serval.
Moving on this game comprises of Barry Leitch original soundtrack, a composer from Lotus TC, Tog Gear E Rush. All of this packed in a very reasonable size. Oops, did I mention that this game has won over 8 awards and was recognized as ‘One Of The Top 10 Mobile Games Of The Year!’ – Stuff Awards 2015.

Second on our list is Asphalt 8: Airborne. This game definitely had been on top if it was not for its size and performance issues. This isn’t a game that can run on any Android Phone, you need a pretty decent one so that your phone can handle it. Personally, this is my favorite game. This game has won 7 awards and has crossed 200 million overall downloads.
This game features 140+ official speed machines, stunning graphics, arcade gameplay and an ultimate multiplayer racing experience which includes up to 12 players racing at one time. 3. Angry Birds Go
Next on our list is Angry Birds Go because of its versatility. This game gives players something more than racing, that is satisfaction. It features exciting campaign modes, track mastery, awesome special powers for smashing your enemies. This game includes upgrades, time-limited tournaments, daily races and a local multiplayer mode allowing players to compete in real-time.
Telepods is another exciting feature of this game which allows the racer to teleport straightaway into the race using your device’s camera. However, the compatibility of the Telepods is limited to few devices for now.
Moreover, this game requires an internet connection to play and additional data is downloaded after downloading the app. To avoid data charges make sure you’re on Wi-Fi. This is the best downhill racing game. Breakneck speeds, bumpy rides and the everlasting fight between the pigs and birds makes it even more awesome. This game has about more than 1000 challenges to burn the rubber on. Trying to dig, drift, drag and roll with police on the tail makes this game impossible to master. It is all about making your choice nad never look back. Online multiplayer races and campaigns make it much better. Tonight We Ride!
