JellyBean 4.2.2 JDQ39 Factory Images Now Available For Supported Nexus Devices

DJ | 15 Feb 2013 | Google/ News

The scene is pretty well heated up with the new update of JellyBean a.k.a 4.2.2 rolling out for most Nexus devices. “Most” because the Nexus S was left out the scene by Google with the release of 4.2.1, but the ones supported yet by this update include GSM Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, Nexus 7 & Nexus 10. Without any further delay, we had our guidelines on Installing the latest update on GSM Galaxy Nexus (Takju & Yakju) and Nexus 4, manually.

Giving a little spark, Google held a lot in its hands this week and managed to push the JellyBean 4.2.2 Factory Images as well within 2 days of the update being released, quiet a pace, isn’t it? The Images were pushed just today and were a huge surprise to the users, guess Google already knows what users are fond off.

The Build JDQ39 JellyBean 4.2.2 Images are released for the following devices:

  • GSM Galaxy Nexus (GSM/HSPA+)(with Google Wallet) : Yakju
  • GSM Galaxy Nexus (GSM/HSPA+) : Takju
  • Nexus 7 (GSM/HSPA+) :  Nakasig
  • Nexus 7 (WiFi) : Nakasi
  • Nexus 4 : occum
  • Nexus 10 : mantaray

If you are an expert in flashing Images to the device, you may proceed. But in case, you’ve quiet a trouble flashing these, hold on for a while and we will surely come up with Instructions on flashing these on the supported devices. While the other variants of Galaxy Nexus and the Nexus Q are still left apart, we could hope to see the builds online for them too.
