The CyanogenMod is an enhanced open source developers community that develops ROMs for smart phones and tablets based on the Android mobile operating system. CyanogenMod is developed as free and open source software based on the official releases of Android by Google, with added original and third-party code. It offers features and options not found in the official firmware distributed by vendors of these devices.

Click the device’s name to download the latest CM 10.1 ROM. Download the ROM in zip (do not extract) and copy it to the internal or external SD Card.
Keep it in mind that flashing a custom ROM is considered a risky procedure. Therefore, do not plunge into the business unless you are sure what is it all about. If you are not careful while flashing a custom ROM on to your Galaxy Tab 2, you might even brick it. Proceed on your responsibility.
A custom ROM requires permission to overwrite the system files of your device and a custom Recovery to install it.
