Galaxy Note 10.1 is a popular tablet device that comes with a special stylus – the S Pen. And now this awesome tablet is receiving Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean firmware upgrade that is the latest version of Android from Samsung. The new update is already being pushed to Galaxy Note 10.1 3G+WiFi GT-N8000 via Samsung Kies and OTA software update feature.
The owner of this tablet device are advised to keep an eye on Kies or check for the latest software update by going to Settings> About> Software Update, as Jelly Bean 4.1.2 update might hit your device any time. Please note that many of you might not see the firmware update notification as the update is being rolled out in phases and will be available to all users, depending on their country and region. If you have not got the update notification, you can still upgrade your Galaxy Note 10.1 3G+WiFi N8000 to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean by downloading the complete firmware and flash it manually via Odin firmware flasher program.
The Android 4.1.1 firmware update for Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 is currently available for only three countries that include Germany, Taiwan and China. The good news, however, is that all firmwares are unbranded and therefore, they can be installed on any international version of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with model number GT-N8000, regardless of country or region. If you have an unbranded (carrier/network-unbranded) device, you can install any of these firmwares (preferably the German one) .
